  • De-greasing & Surface Cleaning: Removing mill scale, oil, grease, and dirt using industrial solvents or wire brushing.
  • Abrasive Sandblasting: Creating an anchor profile on raw carbon steel so the primer bonds mechanically rather than just resting on the surface.
  • Controlled Film Thickness: Applying primer at the specified dry film thickness (DFT)—typically 40 to 75 microns—to guarantee complete coverage without runs or sagging.
